Kpop, one of the trendiest pop in the whole world! Many people ( including me ) admire the authenticity, music, dance, and colorful sets in music videos.  It is said that k-pop groups have the biggest fanbases in the whole world. There are numerous k-pop groups that are popular all over the world, such as  - BTS, Blackpink, Exo, Twice, red velvet, Ateez, ITZY, Momoland, and many more. There are millions of views for each of their videos, k-pop broke many youtube records and now k-pop is a worldwide sensation!

There is a lot of hard work put in to be a K-pop Idol. Years and years of training as a trainee in a company, intense dieting and workout, 12 hours of continuous dance/vocal practice and staying in a suffocated dorm. we think celebrities and Idols have luxurious lifestyles after their debut, but they still have to maintain fit, perform for 3 hours live on stage, and travel from place to place. In Korea, male idol groups either disband or take a beak as they have to serve the military for 2 years. 


Many K-pop groups had numerous collaborations with western artists and have been very active on international TVs.  K-pop groups - Blackpink and BTS broke en-number of records such as the most-viewed music video in 24hours and highest youtube premiere. The new release  - "Dynamite" broke both of these records first set by Blackpink's hit song  "How you like that". Recently Blackpink had two major collaborations with Cardi B and Selena Gomez with the songs " Bet you wanna "  and " Ice cream " respectively. 


Every Fanbase has a name such as - BTS fans are known as "army", Blackpink fans are known as " blinks" and Exo fans are known as " Exols", each of these fanbases strongly support their idols. BTS is the only group after the Beatles who stood No.1 on the Billboard charts for straight 3 weeks. Blackpink is the First K-pop girl group to perform at Coachella. I bet everyone reading this, might have questioned themselves or their parents/teachers - that, "Who is the person, who created these exams?"
