The Black Death!

The black death is one of the deadliest pandemic recorded in human history which resulted in about 100-200 million deaths. The black death occurred due to the Bubonic plague which whipped away over 42% of Europe and other places in the world.  The bubonic plague started in 1347 to 1351 in various places such as Eurasia, south and north Africa, many parts of the UK, England, and Spain. There were three major pandemics recorded due to the Bubonic plague.

The plague was caused due to the Yersinia bacterium which is present in small fleas and animals. The plague was a  communicable disease that can be transmitted from fleas to animals and the bite of these fleas to humans can cause the spread of the Plague. The main cause of the bubonic plague is the trade that was happening all around the world. The fleas with the Yersinia bacteria settle on the rats. When these rats climb onto the ships which were going to go to other countries for exporting and importing, the rats start going into other cities and countries through trading ships are spread all across the city...spreading the Plague too.

It was believed that the first outbreak of the plague was recorded in China in 1334 and it was spread all over Asia and Europe through the trading silk routes of China. People observed that when the fleas bit Cats and rats ...they were infected with the plague but when the dogs were bit by fleas they never were infected.

To be more precise, Plague still exists in today's world but it is believed that the vaccine that was used before wasn't efficient or Valid - it was called "The Plague Vaccine. " This might be a less number but 1 - 17 cases are recorded every year in the United States...Imagine the bubonic plague making a comeback, half of the population will be wiped out!

Plague doctors are the Physician who treats people affected by the Bubonic plague. They were specifically called by the people in the cities which were totally in the hold of bubonic plague. The Plague doctors dressed in a weird way but for the reason of protecting themself. They wore a mask which was beak-like to protect themself from the bubonic plague, they dressed fully in a long black coat, wore gloves, and a wide hat. They filled the beak of the mask with strong herds and spices which was believed to be one of the ways to purify the air.

The bubonic plague caused a lot of deaths, pandemics, and new inventions/steps towards technology. The idea of lockdown was first developed during the spread of this dangerous disease. The death rate was very high and millions of people were dead due to the bubonic plague.  The recent plague that occurred in India and China in the 1890s killed over 15 million people. Even though the vaccine worked for that period of time, people still are affected by this plague. Bubonic plague is the deadliest disease recorded in the world's history!
